Steve Arnoldus is a national published commercial and award winning photographer.

Steve has had a long love affair with many arts for as long as he can remember. As most photographers will detail; the affair began at home usually, starting from a parent, sibling or family member that gave them their first camera. Steve’s was no exception. His father started that curiosity with photography many years ago with a Kodak Instamatic.

After high school Steve purchased his first camera, a Cannon AE-1, a Manfrotto tripod (which he still uses today) and a 50mm lens. Photography was such a release and it taught him to slow down, examine the world around you, and look at things from a different perspective. However, being a student and trying to survive it quickly became apparent that some sacrifices needed to be made. The camera and his love for making photographs had to be put on hold.

Fast forward 15 or so years, Steve was working for a company in the ski industry and met one of the many great friends in his life, John Todd. John was a long time photographer and in a few short months of knowing him, the passion and spark for photography was re ignited within Steve. He purchased a small point and shoot Kodak camera to test the waters. It was only a few short months after that the first DSLR would be in his bag.
